The SAD 161 construction project has been awarded to ProLine Inc. Construction began on April 26, 2018. The contractor has been allotted 45 days to complete the project. A project inspector from Nowak and Fraus is scheduled to be on site daily.
On Friday, May 4th, while removing pavement near on Wynford near Middlebelt, the contractor did disrupt a gas service lead. The gas lead was lying directly under the pavement. While repairing the gas lead, Consumers hit a water service. West Bloomfield Water Department quickly came and made repairs. Despite the engineers best efforts, unforeseen issues do arise. Please be reassured that the Nowak and Fraus team are very capable of handing these unforeseen issues as they turn up during construction.
Construction is progressing well. At this stage in the construction we must ask that there be no on street parking within the construction area. Please see the Construction Notice (5-9-18) bellow. If you need assistance in finding an appropriate area to park please ask the on site Construction Inspector from Nowak and Fraus for assistance.
To keep you up to date on the project, communication about the project will be by Construction Advisory Notices placed on your door, this web site or when required by direct contact of your construction inspector on site. Homeowners are asked to contact Jason Longhurst or myself at the numbers below should they have any questions or concerns.
The township would like to thank you in advance for all of your patience and cooperation as the project progresses.
