Assessing Department

West Bloomfield Township Hall is still open to the public.  A drop box is available and monitored daily. Due to the surge in Covid-19 cases, the Assessing Department is encouraging residents to use the drop box located outside of Township Hall for submitting documentation (east side of Township Hall).

When submitting documentation, please review the forms to make sure they are accurate and complete. We have provided guides for completing various Assessing related forms.  When using the drop box, please address envelopes with “Assessing Department.” Our office staff will send you a date-stamped copy in the mail or, if desired, by email to an address provided to us. Examples regarding each document and what information is required, is listed below.

Most of the property sketches are available online free of charge by clicking on the “Lookup Property Information” link. If you would like a copy of a sketch that is not online, please call our office or send a message to “Ask Assessing” and we will email the sketch to you.

Please feel free to contact the Assessing Department with any of your questions during normal business hours at 248-451-4850, or click on “Ask Assessing” to send an email.
