WEST BLOOMFIELD’S ANNOUNCEMENT OF CONTINUING PUBLIC SERVICES
After much contemplation, West Bloomfield Township administration has decided to close the town hall building to the public, effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020, and until further notice.
This decision was made mainly to protect the health and welfare of the community members, as well as our township employees. We have utmost confidence that our exceptional staff members will continue to assist the public by telephone, email, and through the secure drop box at the east end of our building.
ALL CRITICAL STAFF AND EMERGENCY SERVICES WILL CONTINUE TO OPERATE WITH FULL STAFFING. THESE CLOSURES WILL NOT HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP POLICE OR FIRE DEPARTMENTS, NOR THE WATER UTILITIES DEPARTMENT.
If you need assistance from the Charter Township of West Bloomfield, all departments will continue to be staffed from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you would like to review our online service offerings, please visit www.wbtownship.org. To contact the town hall building, please call 248-451-4800 or 248-409-1581. In addition, as indicated, we have a drop box at the east end of the building that can accept payments (no cash please), absentee ballots, and other documentation.
Water bills may be paid online or by mail, both by check (mailed to 4550 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48323, and by credit cards. The water department will not be scheduling any appointments at this time, unless an emergency situation is involved.
We will conducting building inspections of exterior structures, vacant homes, and commercial developments currently under construction. We regret that we will not be conducting occupied interior structure inspections, or those involving occupied rental homes.
